Dreams, Urim and Prophets

'Ocean of Dreams' by Josephine Wall
From: Dream Interpretation Made Easy
And when Saul inquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.
From: 1 Samuel 28:3-20
Though it is certainly true that people have inquired of God in the past and God has spoken back to people in the many various ways, the following passage should beg our consideration of something more sublime in Jesus Christ.
I shall certainly surrender some comments about the proof text, as well as what is in the first four verses of the book of Hebrews.
Please put on your headphones:
Hebrews 1:1-4
(1) God who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
(2) Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
(3) Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
(4) Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
